Club-Fitting Lessons

Jack Nicklaus would start every season of his golf career by going back to his teacher, Jack Grout, and having him go over all of his fundamentals.  Grip. Stance, Ball position, Backswing, Through swing, Follow through.  If the Greatest of All Time had his game checked out every Spring, don’t you think maybe you might benefit from that as well???

Sign up or call for a Club-Fitting Lesson, TQC will go through the following, in the context of a golf lesson, and you will know, when you are done, that your FUNDAMENTALS are good, and that your equipment is right for YOU.

First, we will look at your grip, stance, posture, ball position, back swing, and through swing, and follow through.

Next, it’s time to let Steve’s 30+ years of club-fitting experience go to work on your clubs.  We will measure grip size and determine if your grips are contributing to accuracy or distance issues.

Then we will measure swing speed with irons and woods, to determine if your clubs are the right flex for YOU.

After that, we look at center-ness of contact, are you hitting the sweet spot?  Do we need to tweak your ball position, or are you too close to the ball, or too far away?

From there, you will get expert instruction on what you need to work on to improve your ball striking, hit the ball in the center of the club, and play better golf.

TQC can offer this service AND provide you with the right equipment if we determine that some of your clubs are wrong for you. We have all of the latest offerings from Ping, Taylormade, Callaway, Cobra, Titleist, new or Demos, let your budget help you decide.

TQC frequently recommends what you need in previous season’s model, it usually sells for at least 30% less than the current year’s model.

If you do not want brand new clubs, TQC can sell you Tour Quality DEMO clubs, used lightly at the driving range, for a fraction of what you would pay for a brand new club.

“Golf is deceptively simple and endlessly complicated; it satisfies the soul and frustrates the intellect. It is at the same time rewarding and maddening – and it is without a doubt the greatest game mankind has ever invented.” - Arnold Palmer
